A bit wary, honestly. I think I mentioned it in plurk, but the whole boot to the head thing was a little too reminiscent of mistakes made long ago with Axel—he was far more trusting of Nova's intentions than he should have been, and it ended with being hurt.
In Nova's case, it obviously wasn't meant like that, and he's aware there would likely be a good deal of surprise (and hurt) were Zexion to lay that out. As such, it's not something Zexion's planning on bringing up, so much as it's just . . . a tactical shift. Giving Nova his space (which is Nova's preference anyway), staying out of arm's reach, keeping defensive magics closer to mind. With Yamamoto, too, and (pre-drop, at least) Apt. Y as well.
That said, he still feels like he's finally on more solid footing with Nova-Scowl than he's he's been in just about ever. It was breaking and I helped fix it. Not completely by a long shot, but it was a bad situation and Nova actually left it a bit better. It's not the greatest of starts in building a new relationship, but it is, finally, a start.
What was Nova's take on the whole 'stop yelling and just let me hug you' thing?
