Zexion found it very interesting that Taisuke actually told him what was gong on with the seeing-heart's-darkness thing. Even more interestingly, the moment Taisuke opened up was right when Zexion had indicated that not talking was okay, and that Taiskue was entitled to his secrets and privacy. Like Taisuke was so used to running from being pursued that the moment he was let go, it somehow earmarked Zexion as 'safe'.
That aside, Zexion mostly relates to and views Taisuke in terms of 'this is Arson's important person'. There hasn't been much that they've really connected on outside of that; the impression he's gotten is that Taisuke's understandably a bit wary, and he's fine with that.
How's Taisuke handling the whole 'you died' thing?

Dying itself is horrible, when he put so much effort into trying to live, he fought so hard to defy his alien headmonster, he had so much to do and responsibilities, he's going to make his sister cry again, Hirose is still loose and he can't help Megu... AND he's still coping with the fact that he's a murderer now, because people die when you blow them up. And for someone like Taisuke who values human life so much, that's not an easy thing to swallow. He doesn't know what to do with himself or how to act, and he's trying so hard to hold it together because Yuta is here, and he can't fail him again, he has to be strong for him and get them both home, but really. Kid needs a good cry at some point.
How's Zexion reconciling his Sabra relations with Camp Plus experience?

In Nova's case, it obviously wasn't meant like that, and he's aware there would likely be a good deal of surprise (and hurt) were Zexion to lay that out. As such, it's not something Zexion's planning on bringing up, so much as it's just . . . a tactical shift. Giving Nova his space (which is Nova's preference anyway), staying out of arm's reach, keeping defensive magics closer to mind. With Yamamoto, too, and (pre-drop, at least) Apt. Y as well.
That said, he still feels like he's finally on more solid footing with Nova-Scowl than he's he's been in just about ever. It was breaking and I helped fix it. Not completely by a long shot, but it was a bad situation and Nova actually left it a bit better. It's not the greatest of starts in building a new relationship, but it is, finally, a start.
What was Nova's take on the whole 'stop yelling and just let me hug you' thing?

(There was one incredibly sad thread I ran into while reviewing, one of their last in CFUD, where Zexion and Fay talked about what would happen if they both forgot each other and met up again on some other world. Like most of Sabra, Zexion tries not to think about it.)
What would camp!Fay think of Syaoran ending up in Thusia?
no subject
Camp!Fay would be a little devastated about Syaoran in Thusia since ... well, being dead. Not!son should not be there at all what happennnnned :( Zexion also being there would make his heart break.

Zexion enjoys talking with her. She's obviously intelligent and observant, and their conversations are interesting. But his impressions of her are also tempered by just how painfully new 'Nikki' is to being dead, being on a world completely separate from her own, and being in a place that likely has few, if any, ties to her past.
The fact that there is a past there is a given. She's not even trying to hide that, and her attempts to stay removed do nothing but make it more obvious that she has plenty she's hiding.
In a kind of bemused way, he's not sure whether she's just really inexperienced, completely indifferent, or if she's looking for someone to ask those questions.

The only real snag he's run into so far is that Tempest seems to take these things personally in a way that most of his antagonistic relationships don't. But. Well. That doesn't really bother him too much, it's just a bit inconvenient.
Kind of looking forward to the day she tries to set him on fire and he takes her home to Chrono in a book.
So what does Tempest think of Zexion?
