She's actually, completely, genuinely glad for the arrangement.

Her first impression of Zexion was that he was a kind person, and that's unwaveringly held true for her. His delivery of it is a bit unique, but he bolstered her in his way, and offered advice, and is surrounded by a small, colorful family here that he seems to genuinely care for.

So really all of that leads into "Saber is in good hands". It's sort of the same feeling she gets when she looks at Kiritsugu's odd little mafia, that "someone besides me is looking out for my important people, and that feels good". She also thinks the environment in Pi-Lambda could be good for Saber, given time. While she was with Rin, or even if she had moved in with herself and Kiritsugu (lololo), there just wouldn't be that modest bustle about it.

And as for the contract... when she told Zexion she was grateful, she really meant it. She has no burning desire to be Saber's Master herself, and so she's never really pushed for it, even with all these people suggesting it. First and foremost because she knows Saber wouldn't be comfortable with it, and second because she thinks there are people better suited for it than herself, and she wants Saber to be paired with someone truly worthy of her. Ultimately she wants to be Saber's friend, her support, someone there for her no matter what; being her Master doesn't necessarily have to factor into that.

So that Zexion was willing to step into a situation that arguably had nothing to do with him, with no obvious gain of his own (a Servant is useful, certainly, but Iri can tell he isn't someone who particularly needs a bodyguard, or a war to fight, or any of the things typically gained in a contract) meant a lot to her. Especially since he approached it with compatibility in mind--she knows how unhappy Saber was in her contract with Kiritsugu, and it's why she declined when Rin offered to transfer the contract to her when she arrived. If Saber's Master is a good match for her, and she's happy, that's all that matters. And in doing so he helped Rin and Archer, too, which she's also grateful for.

Oh and the obviously paternal way he's approaching it is. Adorable. She approves 100%

So basically it's just... good feelings all around. +9001 Zexion dere as a result.

Has Chrono made a horrible impression yet, because it seems like he's trying his hardest to do just that every time they interact.

Oh he's definitely trying, it just hasn't worked yet.

Zexion's general assumption is that very little of Apartment Sparkles approves of his presence, and as he is legitimately a horrible person, he's okay with that. Ptou still has his gratitude, and he likes Natsume a lot, but between Chrono's attempts at being all antagonistic and Tempest's existence, he's quite fine just keeping his distance.

The fact that he seems to have acquired a good number of Chrono's memories is a bit awkward in the way that finding out you accidentally ate someone else's lunch is awkward. He's honestly got so many other bits and pieces of things in his head that he likely wouldn't have noticed for some time if it hadn't been pointed out. But still, memories are personal things, and his apology to Chrono was honestly meant.

Chrono would make a better worse impression if he wasn't quite so easy to diffuse. But Delphinus was good for being reasonable.

What is sober Chrono going to think of the Things That Happened With Tempest while he was still in chibi form?

Between Ptou and Tempest and Maria, all of whom REALLY DON'T CARE, they are determined to break him of the notion that form matters. Which is kind of working through sheer toppedness, but he's also Chrono so his response will forever be to turn red and bury his face in his hands anyway because oh my god

I KNOW YOU'RE NOT ACTUALLY GOING TO APP but I masochistically enjoy chinhandsing over these things, so give me a Shader-in-Thusia fantasy sequence. How did she die, what does she do when she gets here, how badly does she top everyone?

I stalk everything, obviously. Why are you even surprised? Also, it should be easier with Tempest because she could always just be picturing him as a halfling.

How Shader would die is actually part of the problem; it's difficult to find a plausible cause of death when she's such a survivor. When she got here . . . well. The first thing she'd probably do is take in that she's alive. The second would be to sniff out Chrono. Possibly on the people that have been sleeping with Chrono.

Ideally, instead of having them meet in the shrine room, I'd have her show up on the other side of Ceiling-Bob, all tinted and distorted. Big "Hehe~" cat grin. Get the full amount of doom sinking in before they met face to face.

As for topping, it's hard to tell. It would depend on where she ended up staying, who else was there . . . how much they meant to Chrono and how much they needed to be topped. Character relationships aren't really something I'm good at predicting in advance, but she's a pretty toppy person. Ptou might make it out okay, but Tempest would be pretty doomed.

Iri's desires are always very humble. She wants to cook dinner for her family and have them all sit down around a table and eat it together. She wants to plan a room for Ilya. She wants to invite their friends over and have a place to entertain them and say "welcome to our home". She wants to go pick out dresses with Ilya and drag Saber along. She wants to have a picnic somewhere, with a checkered picnic blanket. She wants to go on real romantic dates with Kiritsugu, like they never could before.

Basically any of the little normal things that most people take for granted, that she wasn't able to have in her previous life.

... Explain the significance of Nobody pajamas...

The Nobody pyjamas are designed to look kind of like the outfits the various classes of Nobodies wore. The pyjama design corresponds to the type of Nobody that best matches the person receiving it; for instance Saber is getting Samurai pyjamas, because Samurai fought with swords and are both powerful and honourable, and will challenge adversaries to duels rather than just attack them relentlessly.

The idea came partly from how closely Servant classes match Nobody types, and partly from how . . . Zexion's homesick, a bit. And he considers the people he's giving pyjamas to as much 'his people' as the Nobodies are/were, so . . . it fit. At least to his flower-infused more-than-a-little-intoxicated mind.

Also, no one has pyjamas.

What are Chrono's feelings on Zexion so far?

IT'S LIKE. Everything would be much easier if he could just hate or resent or even dislike Zexion. But. He can't. AND HE'S TRIED.

He actually had a fairly positive impression of Zexion prior to dreamsharing--he was honest and reasonable and actually very Delphinus, all things considered. And then after dreamsharing his knee-jerk, emotional response was to puff up like that pusheen emote. But when rationale is actually applied there, he knows you can't control your dreams or your subconscious. Nor can he resent someone simply for having an awful subconscious, because really now.

And then Zexion was genuinely apologetic for lifting his memories, and did so in a very disarming fashion, and just. ... You are very hard to dislike. CUT THAT SHIT OUT.

He also does genuinely enjoy talking to Zexion, and is becoming more curious about him because of some of the things he's said in passing. He seems like someone with a lot of baggage, who's seen a lot despite not technically being that old, and it's clear he does care very much for some of the people around him. (He. He was offering to make Natsume a nightgown because she didn't have one...) But he'd also be reluctant to ask about it because he thinks he's made an awful spectacle of himself and because Chrono just naturally doesn't pry.

... Something I've somehow never asked, and will probably regret asking shortly, but: Feathers's feelings on murdering a tinydemon? What did she do with the body?

A very deep, indescribable sorrow.

Tide was . . . just such an incredibly important person to her. The one person on Delphinus she had as a constant after Zero's continued distance and Shiki's disappearance, who actually viewed Pavo as the partners they so desperately wanted to be. Kururu loves people, tuners love people, it's what they do, it's what tuning is, but she loved Chrono in a way that was entirely irreplaceable.

But it . . . was because she was a tuner, because she loved him, that she could understand what the years without Rosette had been for him. What the coming years would be, even if he was with her, even if they were together. And that's . . .

A big part of why it was then, why it was the first time they met, was because she knew that if she waited she wouldn't be able to let him go. And he . . . he needed someone to let him go. To say, "It's okay. You've done enough, you've made it up, you're forgiven. It's okay to move on, to stop, to rest. It's okay."

There comes a point when you have to love someone enough to let them go. And she's the only one who could let him go. So she . . . did.

Sang until he was smiling and still, until all the parts that moved finally stopped.

It just. Would have been a long while after that before she could let him go.

After, she would have asked Ine for help in having him cremated, because that's what Japan does and also because if you kill a demon sometimes it's best to make sure he'll be able to stay that way. And she'd ask her network for help in finding the location of Rosette Christopher's grave, so she could lay those ashes to rest beside it.

Is there anything that you're itching to see happen in Thusia (with your CR or with the game as a whole)? Events/plots/developments/anything really.

Answered a bit here!

Mostly I just want to play more. Job hours mean I'm mostly a weekend warrior who keeps 'normal' EST hours these days, and sadly a lot of the players I interact with are night owls.

I like running posts, and have plans for a few. I want to make Apt. Y into a POD LAB for coma'd characters, but Eizon's a tightass about prices so that may or may not happen. Zexion ICly honestly doesn't care enough to work for supplies for more than his direct relationships. I want to continue breaking Rin and Saber's souls, and have Iri (possibly even Grail Iri) over for tea and pickles, now that Zexion can make pickles. Encourage Luka and Natsume's derpy relationship, have broventures with Arson, and dere moments with Prussia. Mentor Gokudera and further repair or reinvent their relationship, and interfere more in his and Yamamoto's partner-lives.

One of these days I would kind of shamelessly like Zexion to get seriously injured or poisoned, but it's not that likely 'cause he's all careful. But Saber and Prussia yelling at him would be wonderful.

Speaking of Grail Iri, what's your wishlist?

Well aside from darkness event/an excuse to do Grail Iri, as you well know. :')

+ EXPAND CR CIRCLES, I have been super lazy and complacent a-and it's bad. Basically just make some new friends, for both of them.
+ Status effect events. Darkness event, sickness event, mistletoe toe, etc. A bodyswap event not only for bodyswap hijinks, but so I can potentially play a tiny, angry, confused merpire for a few days.
+ Something that really shakes up HQ. Right now everyone's gotten kind of complacent, so something that really turns them on their heads would be awesome.
+ Similarly, something that tests bonds. Sparkles in particular tends to just cruise along in a carefree way, but something that actually upset their zen for a while would be interesting to play with.
+ For Natsume to app from that hilariterrible Chrono Crusade AU
+ NATURE STUFF!! Like that boss battle that cleared out a lot of level 2. I shamelessly love that stuff, because I play a tank 8(
+ To abuse every single Dreampost forever
+ Take all four significant others on dates
